The enforcement team of Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak-EPA), conducted an inspection drive against single-use plastics in key commercial areas of sector G-6, Islamabad,

Over 15 kg of single-use plastic items were confiscated during the operation, and six warnings were issued to the shopkeepers for violations.

It is worth mentioning that most shops comply with the Single-Use Plastics (Prohibition) Regulations and use environmentally friendly bags.

Pak-EPA remains fully committed to eradicating single-use plastics from the capital and continues to enforce the ban through regular inspections and strict action.
