Pak-EPA Enforcement Team Cracks Down on Single-Use Plastic in Islamabad

"Islamabad, June 18, 2025 - The Enforcement Team of Pak-EPA conducted a field operation against single-use plastic items in F-6 Islamabad.
During the inspection, the team visited Butlers chocolate Cafes, Coffee Beans, Tayto, Munchies, Mr Foods, Red Apple, Quetta cafes and Shah G resturant, confiscating approximately 25 kilograms of single-use plastic items (Plates, Spoons, Stirrers, Forks, Boxes and Glass), Imposed Rs. 50,000 /- Fine and issued 03 warnings to the local consumers and Shop owners. The team also distributed public notices on single use plastic (prohibition) regulations for display in thier resutarants. This action is part of Pak-EPA's ongoing efforts to enforce the Single-Use Plastic (Prohibition) Regulations 2023 within the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) limits.
