Environmental Monitoring Team (EMT) conducted an official visit to the environmental laboratory at Bahria University

Islamabad, March 4, 2025 – Pak EPA's Environmental Monitoring Team (EMT) conducted an official visit to the environmental laboratory at Bahria University. This visit was carried out in response to Bahria University’s request for environmental certification under the National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS) Certification of Environmental Laboratories, as outlined in the National Environmental Quality Standards (Certification of Laboratory) Regulation 2000.

The primary objective of the visit was to evaluate the laboratory's compliance with the conditions set forth under SRO 258 (I)/2000, which governs the certification of environmental laboratories. During the inspection, the EMT thoroughly examined the laboratory’s premises and facilities. EMT assessed the operation and calibration status of the analytical equipment to ensure certain required operational standards. Pak-EPA remains committed to upholding environmental standards and ensuring the credibility of laboratory certifications in Pakistan.
