INVITATION TO JOIN ROAD SHOW ON WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY JUNE-05. 2023 IN ISLAMABAD

World Environment Day is an annual event celebrated on the 5th of June each year to raise global awareness and promote positive environmental action. In Pakistan, this significant day is embraced with great enthusiasm and fervor by the government Institutions, civil society, various organizations, and students across the country.

 

The civil society in Pakistan have an essential role in organizing and participating in activities aimed at creating awareness about environmental issues. Numerous organizations in Pakistan actively contribute to the World Environment Day celebrations. Environmental NGOs, community groups, and corporate entities organize tree plantation drives, beach clean-ups, and awareness campaigns. Students' societies on environment are also have a future custodian's role on the environment, playing a crucial role in the World Environment Day celebrations.

 

Pakistan Environment Protection Agency (Pak-EPA) in collaboration with Pakistan Academy of Environmental Sciences (ACADEMY), and others stake holders from public and private partners are collective activities during next 15 days in Islamabad. A quality participation of minimum 500 is expected in our road show like our previous events including young and experienced researchers, scientists, philanthropist, biotechnologists, policy makers, climate change lobbyists nonprofit entities, departments and ministries.
