Pak-EPA Conducts Enforcement Operation Against Single-Use Plastics in Tarnol and Saddar

Islamabad, 16 January 2026 — Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak-EPA) conducted enforcement operations in the Tarnol and Saddar Circles. During the inspection, notices were issued to four establishments found in violation of the Single-Use Plastic Regulations. Additionally, enforcement teams confiscated 50 kilograms of single-use plastic bags from various outlets.
Pak-EPA reiterates its commitment to implementing the ban on single-use plastics across Islamabad and urges all business owners, vendors, and the general public to comply with the regulations.
