Pak-EPA's enforcement team along with ICT Administration carried out a focused operation in the I-8 markaz and G-13 markaz of Islamabad

Islamabad, September 18, 2024 –Pak-EPA under the supervision of Director (A,L/E) Mr Aamir Abbas enforcement team along with ICT Administration carried out a focused operation in the I-8 markaz and G-13 markaz of Islamabad specially KFC, Gloria jeans, Ranchers and chezious brands including restaurants, bakeries and marts were visited to enforce the Single Use Plastics (Prohibition) Regulations, 2023.

Operation Team confiscated 50 KG of single-use plastics items. Warnings were issued to the branch Managers of these brands found in violation of the regulations.

The crackdown is part of a broader initiative to reduce the use of plastic and promote sustainable practices across the Islamabad
