Pak-EPA Transforms Confiscated Plastic into Green Benches to Promote Environmental Awareness

Pak-EPA has successfully repurposed confiscated single-use plastic into durable green benches as part of its ongoing drive to encourage recycling and sustainable practices in Islamabad.
At the direction of DG Pak-EPA, these environment-friendly benches have been handed over to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) for installation at prominent public locations. The initiative aims to raise public awareness about plastic waste management and demonstrate how waste materials can be transformed into useful, eco-friendly products.
Through this effort, Pak-EPA continues to advocate for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Pakistan by promoting innovative solutions to reduce plastic pollution.
