The 32nd National Biosafety Committee (NBC) meeting convened on 21st February 2025 at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (MoCC & EC). Secretary MoCC & EC chaired the meeting, which included NBC members in person and online.

The agenda included cases of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), comprising 6 cases of laboratory manipulation work, 4 cases of field trial, 01 case of commercialization, and cases from 5 importers of GM Soybean grain for Food Feed or Processing (FFP).

Following the unanimous consensus of committee members on the TAC's recommendations, all cases have been approved by the NBC forum. This marks a significant step towards harnessing the potential of GM technologies to support national progress and contribute to global innovation.
