Capacity Building in Biosafety Clearing House "BCH"

In a bid to enhance awareness and understanding of biotechnology's role in environmental protection, the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has initiated a series of weekly presentations conducted by members of Pakistan Biosafety Clearing House (Pak-BCH). These sessions, hosted by the Pak-BCH, aim to facilitate knowledge sharing and learning among its members.

Since its inception, four presentations have been successfully conducted, with weekly sessions scheduled to continue until mid-June. Each presentation showcases research endeavors undertaken by Pak-BCH members, ranging from their academic studies to research experiences.

In today's session, a comprehensive presentation delved into “The callus induction of two wheat varieties, namely Anaj-2017 and Akbar 2019”. Following the presentation, a robust discussion ensued, focusing on the practical implications and potential applications of the methodology presented.

Post-presentation discussions are integral, as technical members of Pak-BCH evaluate how research methodologies can be effectively integrated to benefit the broader community. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, these sessions aim to drive innovation and progress in the realm of biotechnology and environmental conservation.
