During the inspection, the teams visited various local establishments, including bakeries, wholesale plastic bag suppliers, hotels, dry fruit, Butchers, and vegetable merchants. Approximately 150 kilograms of single-use plastics were confiscated in the operation.

In addition, fines totaling Rs 10,000 were imposed on shop owners and sellers, and 8 warning notices were issued to sellers, shop owners, and consumers in violation of the regulations. This action is part of Pak-EPA's ongoing enforcement of the Single-Use Plastics (Prohibition) Regulations 2023 within the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) limits.
