Water Quality Sampling at Rawal Dam Conducted by Pak-EPA

 27th November 2025: The Pak-EPA NEQS Laboratory Team conducted sampling at the Water Filtration Plant, Rawal Dam, and multiple key points across Rawal Dam to assess water quality and ensure compliance with national standards.

Samples were collected from:

  • Three feeding streams: Korang Stream, Lake Viewpoint Stream, and Jinnah Stream.
  • One central point within the Dam.
  • One point at the Dam’s Spillway.

The team obtained both deep-water and surface-water samples for comprehensive laboratory analysis. These samples will undergo comprehensive chemical and microbiological analysis at the CLEAN lab of Pak-EPA.
