Enforcement Actions Against Single-Use Plastic Items in Islamabad

The Enforcement Team of Pak-EPA conducted a field operation against single-use plastic items in F-7 Islamabad. During the inspection, the team visited restaurants and cafes in F-7 markaz and confiscated approximately 40 kilograms of single-use plastic items (Plates, Spoons, Forks, Boxes and Glasses). The Team issued warnings to the resturants and Cafes. The team also distributed public notices on single use plastic (prohibition) regulations for display in thier restaurants. This action is part of Pak-EPA's ongoing efforts to enforce the Single-Use Plastic (Prohibition) Regulations 2023 within the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) limits.
