It is stated that Pak-EPA has issued conditional NOC for handling of Hazardous waste, based on certain conditions. However, M/s Xperts Waste Management have failed to comply with the conditions of NOC which is punishable under sub section (2) of section 17 of the act. Accordingly Pak-EPA in exercise of powers under section 7(d) of Pakistan Environmental Protection Act’1997 (PEPA’1997), terminates the NOC. However, under section 24(3) (b) of PEPA’1997 you have right to appeal against this termination within 30 days from the date of issuance of the termination in Environment Magistrate, Islamabad.
